Cloudflare blocking access to BGG from Singapore
Hello,
For a couple of weeks, we have had in Singapore (I guess maybe in other countries as well) this annoying Cloudflare page popping up to check if I am a human.
It was already very annoying because almost every single time you go to BGG, you get this verification page.
Since yesterday, it has become worse: we cannot access BGG at all. I tried from different devices and different networks, and the result is the same.
Knowing a bit about anti-bot systems, my guess is that this may be a bad Cloudflare configuration or an overly aggressive anti-bot rule on BGG’s side.
Normally, when you deploy anti-bot protection, you monitor false positives and challenge results to improve the configuration. For example, if many real users from a specific country, ISP, or region are repeatedly challenged and still pass the verification, it can be a signal that the rule is too aggressive.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue, especially from Singapore or other countries outside the US?
Is BGG aware of this serious issue (I cannot access BGG forum so cannot check).
Kindly,
