Buy new Lexus? Or other brand? - advice needed for new car purchase 2027

Graduated in 2019 and still driving a 2016 Civic my parents purchased for me. I want to be independent and was thinking of buying a new car (or slightly used car with low mileage) next year.

Any advice? Now that I am independent, have no debts, good job with good salary and promotion, thinking of getting a "luxury" car. I have been reading lot of posts here and elsewhere and they are warning me to not buy a new Audi/BMW/Mercedes saying maintenance is a huge pain and it's better to lease them.

What about a Lexus? Is that the same issue? Probably going to pay cash for the car, or take a loan but immediately pay it off ( I read you get discounts when you finance it as opposed to paying cash).

Tesla/EV is out of the picture. Fiance has one and it's a pain with constant charging and trying to find a Tesla supercharger.

But do you all agree with the sentiment towards German cars? Is a Lexus ok? Or ignore what they say and get the German car? I have always wanted an audi, its my favorite, but I don't want the stress and/or regret of maintenance or car being worthless after a few years.
