Can I appeal?

I was rejected by all of my reaches, and I think it was because of my freshman and sophomore year grades. I didn't include anything on the additional info commonapp section originally; mostly because it was embarrassing to admit, and I struggle with sharing my challenges. But, my grandma was extremely ill, causing me to lose focus from my studies, and my mom to have a bad temper and pressure/yell at me to do everything her way. I became depressed and had no close friends to talk to, so I stopped doing homework and studying for tests. Would I be able to talk to an ao or appeal to some colleges?

Can I appeal?

Hey everyone,

Law vs banking?

Hey everyone, I am an upcoming freshman at an undergraduate college.

When deciding majors, I am wondering if I am the right fit for law school. I mainly want to make money (regardless of the grind), and was wondering whether finance or corporate law can make more. Also, I'm deciding between UCI and UIUC for undergraduate, with hopes of transferring out, so which would provide an easier path (higher GPA)?
