Hey people,

I had to replace my ignition cylinder and in the process, I’m pretty confident I broke my clock spring. So I replaced that as well. I’ve done all the googling and grok’ing and I can seem to manually recalibrate the sensor. What’s really throwing me off is the dashboard alarm’s only trigger when I turn right. If I keep making lefts I can drive for miles. Power steering feels fine. Traction control lights on but it isn’t engaging. I’ve verified that my steering wheel is straight with my wheels. All connectors are seated. I did not have this issue before working on the steering column so it’s not mechanical failure. I’ve read about having to use a fancy diagnostics tool to recalibrate it. Is there anything I’m missing before I pay someone to do that?
