I regret applying ed1 to nyu.

When I applied my hardo dumb close minded ahh prioritized one thing: finance/prestige ranking. So I went to typical invesment banking websites and picked nyu stern due to its location prestige and pipeline to wallstreet.

Now after actually researching and understanding colleges I care far less abt target schools to wallstreet.

The issue is NYU (especially stern) attracts a very specific kind of student. The super pre professional hardo ib finance ranking prestige obsessed wants to experience ‘city’ life (an interchangeable term for materialistic snob)

I wish I applied early to schools like Vandy where it’s still a very nice school and I rlly want a trad college experience where I can participate in Greek life, tailgates, southern culture, campus, and not around hardo ib kids.

Pls convince me to go to nyu.

Edit: just make me feel better pls
