I dont know what to do with my 10 year old step daughter?
So my daughter has been having a difficult few years. Step mom passed away and father is currently unable to be a parent, not that he was much of one when he had custody. Because of everything that happened the wife and I had let her have her time to go through the emotions and go to therapy.After some time she was still lying, stealing, not following rules, bad grades. Will even talk about about serious subjects to get out of trouble or being grounded. We have done all the positive disciplines we can think of. Currently on a rewarding system for any privileges as long as hmwk and chores are done. She had 3 months where nothing was in her room and she had to earn them all back but within a couple weeks the trouble started again. At this point I just dont know what else to do. Any advice?
