How can I convince my wife to not get one?
Hi everyone. I'm 38, my wife is 34, and we have two beautiful kids (3 and 5). Currently she drives a 2011 ram 1500, it has the 4.7L V8 and has been a piece of junk. She's had it since before we met.
I have a 2024 single cab f350 6.8L which I use for my business, but it is not my daily, a BMW m340i fills that role.
My wife is very adamant about wanting an f250 as a daily, even though she has absolutely no need for it. She already complains about her ram being too big, and about how having a bed is inconvenient, and yet still wants an f250.
I've already been able to talk her down from an f350 (which she wanted because of the name), and from lariat to XLT. I've been able to find one for $52K cash driveaway, which I feel is a good price. But she could get a BMW 330i xdrive or x3 30 xdrive for around that price.
She has no intention to tow or haul anything, and no need for one. How can I convince her to get something sensible?
