So i (23M) recently reconnected with my ex (35M) and we’ve been on a single date since the reconnection.
I’d say it’s been 3 weeks since the last hangout and there’s been so much time between the dates because we got into an argument and things got awkward for us until we talked it out and even addressed what happened in our relationship when he cheated last October.
So i planned a bowling date for this Friday and I noticed that I’ve been the only one initiating texts and carrying the emotional labor of this connection.
It seems like he’s not putting in any effort to actually chat with me as our date is approaching. I just wonder what to do. Should i just cancel the date? It’s been this way for a week now where I’ve been the only one initiating conversations and just carrying.
I really like him and i can tell that he’s changed and he’s been working on himself and so things would be better if we tried again.
