Hey, i'm a vocalist that does about every genre with harsh vocals and i just started a metalcore/screamo hybrid band. The thing is i want to use imagery and metaphores to make the lyrics a bit more complex and "cryptic", not just simple sentences that transcribes simple feelings. An example of lyric writing i like just about every song by On Broken Wings, lovelostbutnotforgotten and also killingmesoftly. Also english is not my first language(as you can probably tell lol), so it makes it a bit harder because i lack of vocabulary.
