I was in love with this guy 22m for 4 yrs. we were bestfriends. He knew I always wanted something more. He stalled me for 4 yrs telling he can’t come into relationship as he’s not in that space. 4 yrs later he meets a girl 24f and is in relationship in under 6 months of meeting her.

He kept telling me he would never fall for anyone so it’s not just me. He clearly told me it’s not the right time and never mentioned it wasn’t cuz he didn’t like me.

My chest is really heavy and I do not know how to process this feeling. Does it ever even pass. Please help and give some advice.

How should I tackle this feeling?
