I've had an Einstar Rockit for a few days, and I think I need to optimize my use and understanding of setting up an object for scanning.

Specific details:
My practice part is a cosmetic plastic cover, thin, and tricky to scan the edge, and get it to align together.

I've ordered Scanning Spray, I've set up a black board with markers on it, and I've tired various ways to suspend the object to get a better scan.

I'm looking for buy or 3d print what ever to create a better marker environment, or any better jigs/rigging/etc. Also tips on how to set it up and way of think about the work flow.

Thanks for helping this learner.

Einstar Rockit just got done setup. I have no practice with this equipment. I have no reference for what modes to use, when and how to use markers, etc.

I'm looking for guides/videos, to teach me what I need to do.

I plan to scan all aspects of automotives to reverse engineer parts and accessories; though I'm trying to jump in with some practice on smaller things.

What should I start watching?
