Hey guys, need some urgent advice regarding NEET UG 2026 counselling and domicile rules.
My Situation:
- Education: I’ve studied in Telangana (Hyderabad) from LKG all the way to 12th grade.
- Parents: They currently live and work in Andhra Pradesh.
- Current Docs: I have an EWS certificate issued in Andhra.
My Questions:
- Since I’ve studied here for 14 years, I definitely satisfy the "Local Candidate" rule . But will my AP EWS certificate be accepted during TS counselling?
- How do I get a Telangana EWS certificate if my parents don't have a residence proof (like a rental bond or gas bill) in TS anymore? Can I apply using my old school/hostel address?
- Has anyone else from AP/other states who studied in TS successfully claimed the 10% EWS quota?
Any help or "Tahsildar office hacks" would be life-saving. Thanks
