Large yard recommendations
I’ve been looking at reviews everywhere to make a best decision on a robot lawnmower and need help. We have 7-8 acres to mow and the mowing season here is close to 8 months out of the year. It used to be farmland, so lots of bumps in places where the crops used to be, lots of dandelions, the grass type varies and grows pretty fast after a rain. I’m not looking for perfectly manicured, just quantity to try and save time. I’m aware we would probably need multiple units to do the whole of it but I’m just going to start with one if I can find a good fit and see how that does.
My biggest concerns are the blades, reliability, warranty and customer service.
I was leaning towards real blades but have seen a lot of negative feedback about them and I’m worried razor blade types may not be able to handle the job because of the grass/weed variety.
It’s a big purchase for me, so I would appreciate any helpful information or advice. I’m looking to buy one that will do at least 1.5 acres a day. (I have already crossed yarbo off my list based off the reviews on here)
