Well, friends. I’ve just come back to the 3DS community.

When I was seven, I got my first look at the New 3DS XL in the year it was released, thanks to a relative. And that was my first experience with handheld consoles.

A few years later, I managed to acquire an Old 3DS Fat, which I kept for two years, until it developed numerous hardware issues. After that, I had a 2DS and later a PS Vita Fat, which I traded in for a New 3DS.

It was one of the best trades I could have made. However, a few months later, the console’s screens started failing, and by then, I didn’t have enough money to replace them.

Now, in 2026, I managed to get hold of an Old 3DS XL. It’s actually the first 3DS XL I’ve ever had.

Like the New 3DS, I managed to get this one through a trade. And yes, it was for another PS Vita that I bought two months ago.

Although it was a difficult trade to make, emotionally speaking. But I know it was the right decision, considering how expensive these consoles are becoming these days. And in the country where I live, Costa Rica, the price is even more exorbitant.

So I’m grateful to be able to relive the experiences I had with this console, as well as create new memories.

By the way, the girl I swapped consoles with changed the console’s shell to that beautiful colour, as well as fitting a screen protector on the touchscreen, and she also gave me the console’s original shells (^^)(^^)

I love you all 1!1!1!
