So, I recently purchased a 2017 Nissan Rogue from a major dealership in Dec 2025. Within one month, the car was having delayed acceleration and was kind of loud when I accelerated. The dealership was trying to make me sign into a new deal before admitted to selling me a lemon and fixing it. They diagnosed that it was the transmission at this time. So I got an attorney involved who sent a demand letter for them to fix it. I just got the car back from being fixed on April 24th. It is now May 9th and yesterday when I was driving my car starting jerking and shaking and would not accelerate mid me turning on a major street. I pulled over and turned the car off. After a while I tried to turn it back on (I was dead in the middle of this drive thru and every time I would turn it on it would die immediately.
I first pumped the accelerator a few times and it died reved for a few seconds and then died after attempting to start. Then I tried turning it on and holding my foot on the gas and it didn’t rev or anything just died instantly. What could this be? I’m a F28 and do not know anything about cars. I also do not have a dad lol HELP
