I'm 25rn and facing low ferritin levels ever since I got my periods and my hair health has been going downhill since then. Right now I'm at my worst I've been. Also lost lot of hair due to 2 consecutive surgeries last year. Lost a lot of blood too.
Anyways, I've narrowed down that I'm facing hairfall due to high testosterone/ androgens and i low ferritin since puberty. Is anyone of you guys facing the same?
Was anyone able to raise their ferritin levels? I've consulted several dermats they prescribe minoxidil and nothing works in long-term. My hair loss isn't genetic my mom and dad still have good hair, it's just my body is battling several health issues and ive been through a lot in past 2 years.
Can anyone suggest me what worked for them for androgenic hair loss and low ferritin?
