Im trying to compare an amino acid sequence to an RNA sequnce, is it enough to go step by step Met = AUG. For the RNA sequence, I have l, I have a nuclei acid subunit that begins at 10 so I dont have the start codon? How can I go about comparing these?

Hi all,
Looking for some advice or shared experiences on a property situation.
We’ve exchanged contracts on a house, with a completion date set for the 30th. A few days before completion, the seller told us their onward purchase has fallen through, so they’re now unable to complete on our agreed date.
Our solicitor has said that under the contract we have to wait 28 days before serving a notice to complete, and then give a further 28 days after that before we can take any further legal action (so potentially ~8 weeks total). They’ve also said there’s not much else we can do in the meantime.
I understand we can’t just force someone out of the property, but I’ve heard of situations where sellers move out temporarily (e.g. renting or staying with family) so the sale can still go through. Is that something we could push for, or is it unrealistic?
I’m also slightly concerned there may be a conflict of interest (small town, solicitors know each other), and that we might not be getting the full picture on whether anything can be done to speed things up or put pressure on the seller.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?
Are there any realistic ways to expedite things?
Can we negotiate anything at this stage (e.g. compensation, temporary arrangements)?
Is the 28 + 28 day timeline standard, or worth getting a second opinion?
Appreciate any insights!
Thanks in advance.
