Those who currently work full time and plan on leaving their job for school, when are you quitting?

I am salivating thinking about putting my 2 weeks notice in and potentially planning on my last day being June 5 because I can’t wait (plan on living with my parents in between, so I am very lucky to not worry about rent payments). I was curious what everyone else’s timelines looked like and if I should consider working into July.

My job is split in office and WFH, but my parents live 1.5 hours from my job and my lease just ended, so it will be a bit of a drive for the in office days…

Over the weekend, my 7 year old (almost 8) chiweenie developed acute pancreatitis. Almost exactly a year ago, this happened as well. As far as I know, both times she did not eat anything she wasn’t supposed to and I was feeding her only her normal food (IAMs small breed dry food with blue buffalo wilderness wild cuts). Occasionally she also suffers from bouts of diarrhea, but it has only been severe in the pancreatitis cases. I asked the vet how to avoid this all from happening in the future, and they had no answers. They even told me her food is fine. I will be permanently switching to the food they gave me for the week (Hills prescription low fat), but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do or tests I should seek out for her. Both times were extremely distressing for the both of us and I would do anything for her to not go through it a third or more time. Thank you for any insight!

Edit- she is not obese and never has been, no health issues that I am aware of aside from the pancreatitis, and no physical injuries… the only injury I can think of is that 2 years ago, another dog bit her on her snout (did draw a very tiny bit of blood) but she was fine after that. She is a somewhat anxious dog, as she is mostly chihuahua, and seemed to be neglected by and fearful of her previous owners (I got her when she was 3.5 years old).

I contacted the vet this afternoon but they didn’t have room for her until tomorrow. I am unsure if there is anything more I can do besides feed her rice, keep her hydrated, and give her the stop the runs medication (she is small, so I gave her half the tablet this morning and will give her the other half tonight as per the instructions). It is 6pm where I live, and she has already gone 7 times today (7:30am which was more solid, 8:30am, 11am, 2:30pm, 4:30pm, and 5:45pm). The later times have been smaller. Beforehand she shakes (she’s a chihuahua), and has had shaking fits in between the times she went as well. Most of the times were in the house because she couldn’t hold it, the two times that were outside were during a walk. Maybe three times a year for the past couple years she has days of frequent diarrhea, but the vet says nothing is wrong. Last year, it was very severe after being at the kennel (blood came out at one point) and they did a bunch of tests and an Xray which showed gas bubbles all over, but with a few days of medication she was better and they said it was nothing long term to worry about. Is this actually normal for dogs? I grew up with family dogs who did not have this issue, and she is the first dog of my own.
