1. pic is the first HS Code added by Buyee with the wrong material category and a 28.6% duty rate belong to that category
2. pic is my correction, adding the right HS Code based on the material and correct category with a rate of 16.6%.
3. pic after fixing the HS Code, the check out keeps requesting the previous duty fee of 8889 yen (29.63% of 30000 yen, not even the 28.6% belonging to the first HS Code) and has not updated to the correct amount of 4980 yen based on the corrected HS Code (16.6% of 30K yen). I have saved and refreshed the page multiple times but nothing has changed.

Why won't the duty fee change? My item is made in Italy and is 100% cotton with no additional attachments. I checked and there is no misleading information in the Japanese Mercari listing. I already own these pants in another color and they look like cotton and the fabric tag states that as well.
