I genuinely used to LOVE CHAI. I used it daily, paid for Ultra, recommended it to people, defended it when others complained about it, etc.
But what the hell is happening lately?
I’m paying 30€+ for Ultra and now my messages are getting hard-cut after a few hundred characters. Not limited with a warning. Literally CUT OFF MID-WORD while typing or pasting.
How are people supposed to do immersive RP like this? Half the reason people even buy Ultra is for longer chats and storytelling.
And before anyone says “just contact support”:
I tried posting about this on the OFFICIAL subreddit multiple times in completely polite wording and every single post got instantly removed by automod/moderators. Even harmless “is anyone else experiencing this?” posts.
That honestly pissed me off more than the bug itself.
Because now it feels like:
- users are paying absurd prices
- message limits are getting worse
- chat history is disappearing for people
- communication is almost nonexistent
- and criticism/bug discussion gets filtered instantly
Meanwhile people are STILL paying monthly for this.
I’m not even trying to be dramatic, but as someone who genuinely loved this app, this whole situation feels insanely disappointing.
Like genuinely:
what exactly are Ultra users paying for anymore?
And not to mention that I somehow currently have TWO active subscriptions at the same time after changing plans before. Ultra + Premium. I had already cancelled my old subscription, yet somehow both are active now and I’m potentially being charged around 60€+ a month for an app that currently can barely handle a paragraph.
