I’m a travel newbie. I’ve got a 24 sx p x line. I’ve got two little ones now so space is started to get cramped on longer trips to vacation spots. We travel 1-2x per year for like 5-14 hr drives to stay for a week or so. With all that being said what’s my best extra storage options. Do I need the cross bars, a roof basket and then throw everything in a soft top bag? Or just throw everything in a hard top bag on the cross bars? Since it’s used relatively infrequently would like it to be able to be somewhat compact when stored. I don’t have a hitch receiver but is that a better option? Mainly worried about bas directly on the moon roof with scratching and cracks.
