We can be mad forever at the way things turned out, we can be angry someone treated us the way they did but we can’t hold on to that forever…
One day that person will marry someone else, have a baby with someone else, grow old with someone else, make memories, travel the world. They will go to do so many different things unaffected by the trauma of the relationship.
Unfortunately we are the ones that get affected, we are the ones that carry the burden of the trauma, honestly.. it wasn’t necessary but fuck it, life happens. We have to be willing to love freely, live freely, be lucky enough to be able to follow your heart. We pick ourselves up and we move on from that person, learning the signs so hopefully we never meet someone like that again.
Life is rough but it’s what you make it in the end, this won’t be the last time you will encounter heartbreak, this won’t be the last time someone does you dirty. Please don’t spend months going round and round trying to understand. It’s not worth it, just find your spark, find your happiness again and live your life. It’s beautiful out there & there are beautiful people in the world. Xx
