Looking for legit banks that offer debt consolidation / personal loan to pay off multiple lending apps

Hi everyone,

I’m from the Philippines and I’m currently looking for advice on legit banks or financial institutions that can help with debt consolidation.

Context: I have multiple small loans from lending apps, and I want to stop relying on them because the interest and stress are becoming difficult to manage. I’m trying to consolidate everything into one structured loan, ideally payable over 36 to 48 months, so I can pay properly and avoid getting trapped further.

I’m employed and willing to submit requirements such as:

Valid government ID

Certificate of Employment / COE

Payslips

Bank statements if needed

Other documents required by the bank

I’m considering personal loans from banks like:

EastWest

UnionBank

RCBC

CIMB

Metrobank

BPI / BDO if applicable

For those who have tried debt consolidation or personal loans in the Philippines:

  1. Which banks are more likely to approve personal loans for debt consolidation?

  2. Which banks usually offer lower rates?

  3. Is it better to apply online or go directly to a branch?

  4. Will existing lending app loans heavily affect approval?

  5. Any tips to improve approval chances?

  6. Are there legit alternatives aside from banks, like cooperatives or salary loans?

I’m not looking for loan sharks, Facebook lenders, or apps with harassment tactics. I just want a legal and manageable way to fix my finances.

Thank you in advance for any advice or personal experience you can share.

Need ko lang ng practical advice sana from people na naka-experience na nito.

I’m currently trying to clean up multiple debts and ang goal ko talaga is ma-consolidate sila into one personal loan with fixed monthly payment.

Hindi ito for new gastos or luho.

Fully employed naman ako and stable ang work.

- iba-ibang penalties

- iba-ibang interest

- tapos umiikot lang yung cash flow kakahabol

Basically hindi siya “walang pambayad”

Ang problema is sobrang fragmented ng utang and ang hirap niya i-stabilize.

I had a bad financial backslide earlier this year because of poor decisions, and I’m taking responsibility for that now.

Tinanggal ko na access ko sa easy cash / e-wallets and I’m already restructuring everything manually.

Need ko lang sana practical advice:

  5. If naka-recover na kayo from this kind of situation, ano pinaka effective ginawa niyo?

Would appreciate real advice from people na naka-experience na nito.
