My friend was at a professional conference in a foreign country. A guy he had previously fired (the guy claims my friend “bullied and gaslighted” him) beat him pretty badly (knocked him out in a hallway).
can my friend press charges (they’re both back in the us) ?

just to be clear, i don’t know what happens between them at work, but violence is never good…
