I’ve been looking into why most of us fall off the wagon after 3 days. It feels like every system out there is way too soft, full of "self-care" and "it’s okay to skip a day" vibes. For me, that just becomes an excuse to quit.

I’m curious if anyone here actually thrives on a "no excuses" approach, or if that’s just a recipe for burnout.

  • Do "gentle" reminders actually keep you consistent, or do you just end up ignoring them when you’re tired?
  • Would a system focused on "missions" and "mental toughness" (no coddling, just execution) be more effective for you?
  • Does the idea of a leaderboard/competition actually drive you, or does it just add unnecessary stress?
  • What is the #1 reason you usually ghost a new routine or productivity system?

I'm trying to figure out if we need more "strict" accountability or if the "soft" approach is actually better long-term. Thoughts?
