Me (f27) and he (m26) had been in a relationship for 1.5 years. From the get go, I had made it very clear that I am dating to marry. I even told him what I’d name my child before me met. Asked him for clarity about the relationship at 6 months. He spoke to my mom a few months ago and told her he wants to marry me.
We got into a small argument about a vacation and he blew it out of proportion. Started blaming me for everything. Accusing me of being trash at everything, jealous of his life, crazy, and what not. I was patiently replying like a fool trying to calm him down.
It ended with him telling me that I gave him an ultimatum and we shouldn’t get married all while giving the most cruel laughter ever. I was stunned and agreed. He went on to accuse me of not being independent and more (I dissociated so hard that I don’t remember)
I cut the call telling that I got to go.
I’ve seen this happen to so many of my girlfriends (men leaving and not wanting to get married but leading on the whole time). Why?
