Hey all so I always box dye my hair at home using L’Oréal excellence (I’ve been doing this since the past 5 years). Recently I’ve started mixing colours however I only use one developer. Basically I put the developer in a bowl and add in two different hair dye color to get the perfect brown I want. However recently I read that you need 2 developers for 2 hair color so basically my 2:1 ratio is ineffective? But honestly I feel so paranoid that using 2 bottles of developer is too much and will damage my hair. What’s the best practice?
