It's 30th April here but I know that later today I will likely be invited to join May mushrooms from friends further east.

I like to prep my Pikmin for mushroom battles in advance by feeding them so they have flowers. So what is strongest today? I have some console and playing card decor Pikmin from last year, and Anniversary rose nectar. Will those be stronger against the new mushrooms even though it's still April for me?

I have a suspicion they won't get their extra strength until it's after midnight where I am... so will the April decor still be strongest?
