In a landslide and unprecedented election, Actor Vijay, TVK's President is poised to become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu in his very first election. However, the party's ideological leanings are not clear enough to predict what will be the new government's approach towards governing. Industries and Markets will be closely watching the situation in Tamil Nadu.
Given this, I wanted to ask people who are well versed with TVK or supporters of TVK -
- What will be the new government's Economic Ideology?
- Is Infrastructure, Investments Capex and Urban Governance a priority for this government? Or will other priorities take precedence?
- Will the new government cancel any previously sanctioned projects for which work have begun (Parandur Airport, Chennai-Bengaluru Expressway, Metro etc.)?
- What is their policy towards Urban Governance (FSI, Waste Management, Water Management, Urban Infra etc.)?
Asking not only as a resident of TN, but also as a student of Economics, and also because I could not find much about Economic Policy in their manifesto.
