Today I am 12 days post first medicated IUI. I believe I ovulated the day after so I would be 11dpo. I had a very very faint line on a test today. Beta is scheduled for tomorrow. I only tested to prepare myself for bad news with the beta. What are the chances of it being a real positive versus just from the trigger shot? I did test out my trigger shot and it appeared to be negative 2 days ago but now I’m not sure if this is real or just me getting my hopes up. I have had two uncomplicated pregnancies followed by two miscarriages in the past year. I have PCOS, endometriosis and a blocked fallopian tube.

I am trying to be hopeful, but also preparing myself for this not being our cycle as this was only our first IUI and there’s still time and other options. Just disappointing at times and a roller coaster of a journey to be on.

How’s everyone feeling? I am terrible with symptom spotting. I completed a medicated IUI with Letrozole CD 3-7 and Pregnyl trigger shot the night before IUI. Currently on Progesterone as well. Today I am 9dpiui. Nervous but still hopeful…

We completed our first medicated IUI cycle over the weekend. I took Letrozole 5mg cycle days 3-7, trigger shot on cycle day 10, the night before IUI. I had 2 follicles measuring 16.5mm and 20.1mm cycle day 10. I ovulated approximately 24 hours after IUI due to feeling ovulation pain. After reading that washed sperm survive for a lot less time, I’m now worried that timing wasn’t right? I also overthink because I’m anxious. Anyone else with a similar timeframe with IUI cycle that resulted in pregnancy?

I (33 f) and husband (31 m) just completed our first IUI over the weekend.

At my last ultrasound on the day before IUI, I had two mature follicles. One measuring 20.4mm and another 16.2mm. I was told there’s a chance both may ovulate.

This cycle was medicated, took Letrozole 5mg cycle days 3-7 with trigger shot the night before.

For those who have done IUI, how many were successful the first cycle or how many cycles did it take? I was told after 3 cycles, the chances decrease dramatically. And how many actually conceived multiples with multiple mature follicles?

I’m trying to be super hopeful and I wouldn’t mind if we had multiples either way. Just hoping for a healthy baby!
