The craze surrounding it back then was absolutely insane. I still remember watching sairat in a jam packed theatre and how the 10 year old me was completely traumatized by the ending.

Everything about the film was perfect, the music, the direction, the characters, and the rawness of it all. Even after all these years, nothing has come close to recreating the impact this movie had.
