I come seeking help / advice please. I’m a little noobie when it comes to networking!! 😅
I actually have my house wired with 2 RJ45 in each room in the house. The box is actually located in a back room (under the stairs) where my electrical installation is (it’s right next to it). It was the electrician who installed it all.
I keep having WiFi drops on my phone sometimes and the WiFi on the first floor isn’t great. Even in the downstairs bedroom which is only a few meters away.
My house is roughly 90m2 on the ground floor so not that big honestly and the box is kinda in the middle.
I’ve separated the WiFi bands into 2.5ghz and 5ghz already and the modem provided by my internet provider is WiFi 7. My internet is actually 5gb shared download so most of my equipment is capped on download (when they have 1gb ports).

What could be the best thing to do to have a better connection ? Get a new router and use my providers as a bridge and position that somewhere else in the house so it’s not crowded in a small room ?
For info, the room isn’t created with wooden studs like in typical houses, in France they use metal rails for the drywall.
