Hello. At one point I broke my razer mouse by trying to connect it via bluetooth to my iPad and I broke it's drivers somehow. I tried to fix it myself by updating firmware using the official tool but I brought it in a worse state.
I tried to contact Razer to give me a way to install some sort of drivers for the mouse, since I suppose I can't make the update to the mouse as it has no software version installed on it. If I simply connect the mouse via USB to the laptop, it keeps flashing all it's colours in a rainbow pattern and it wont get recognized by the laptop (no sound being made as if a device is being connected). If I hold the left & right click and middle mouse button while connecting the mouse via USB, I can hear the mouse as being connected, it gets recognised by the updater, but it goes to 99% and it fails, the mouse disconnects and it starts flashing colors in a rainbow pattern again.
Their response was classic, stating the obvious:
"After a thorough review, we can conclude that some internal components of the mouse have malfunctioned and/or corrupted, preventing the firmware from completing successfully. Unfortunately, this has caused the device to remain stuck in a loop during the update attempts.
Moreover, we have noticed tha that the receipt is dated 02/27/2024, and we regret to inform you that this makes your Razer Basilisk V3 Pro mouse already exceeded its 2-year warranty coverage. As such, we are unable to proceed with a replacement."
Is there any community fix for this issue that people have encountered and solved?
