I have been looking into Highlanders in these years, mostly because they are in my price range, unlike new ones. I checked out a 24 XLE with 28k miles for $42k and also looking into a 23 XLE with 27k miles for $38k.

Seems the 23 is a much better deal, though I haven't test drove. But idk if there is any reason a 24 is a better option, not factoring in the obvious fact that it is a year older and as CPO it loses a year of warranty,

I have been trying to find a used 2024 Passport EX-L but it is hard to find any, though there are a decent amount of 2023s in my area. Any reason why a 2023 would be big step down from a 2024 aside from the obvious extra year of age and losing a year on any warranty if its CPO?

Also have been primarily looking for EX-L over Trailsport. I want a reliable SUV with good cargo space that has some pep to it's step. But, my wife will also drive and she's pretty conservative in her driving style. Would it still be worth checking out Trailsports if there's a good deal on one?
