Given modern technology and cultural diversity, would it still be possible for a newly founded religion to spread widely across the population of a country like how religions historically spread through nations and empires? Or would people refuse to believe in the new religion?

Someone in my diamond league has gotten over 10k xp already, and the league didn’t even start 24 hours ago. How is this even possible?

Whenever I watch a movie or tv show with certain people, they tend to look up background information about the actors playing main characters and share it without being asked. I don‘t want to know who they voted for and I don’t care who they are affiliated with. Just watch the movie and move on afterwards. Knowing too much about actors can ruin the experience of enjoying the movie.
