Hi everyone,

I wanted to check if anyone is in a similar situation or has seen movement recently.
My timeline:
Applied: 2 March 2026
Biometrics: 5 March 2026 (India)
ECO email: 6 March
No updates after that
Paid enquiry (20 April): “Application is being considered and awaiting a decision”
Called UKVI again recently → same response: within standard timeframe
Current status:
Today is 1 May 2026
Around 40 UK working days completed (excluding weekends + Easter holidays)
Still no decision / no further emails
Visa type: Standard Family / Partner (Spouse) visa (outside UK)

What’s worrying me:
It’s been almost 2 months
My intended travel date (1 May) has already passed
Total silence except that generic “awaiting decision” response

What I understand so far:
Standard processing time is up to 12 weeks
Many decisions seem to come between 7–9 weeks
I’m currently around that range, but still waiting

Questions:
Has anyone with early March biometrics (especially around 5 March) received a decision recently?
If you got “awaiting decision”, how long after that did your result come?
Any March applicants from India still waiting at ~40 working days?

Would really appreciate if you can share your timelines - trying to understand if this is normal or if I should start worrying.
