Hi all,

It is my first time in your beautiful country. I’ve come in a work trip that I extended at the end to do some touring. I flew from Canada to LAX, then LAX to SYD, SYD to HBA. My bag only made it as far as LAX, and had been languishing in that airport since. I started a claim on my layover in Sydney, and since then added the AirTag information, pictures, and so on.

In the last 4 days my airtagged bag has not moved an inch. My trip has turned into an exhausting disaster without my stuff. I have tried phoning Qantas, and also starting an official complaint in their portal. It’s been radio silence. They have not helped me at ALL. I’ve been buying things pretty selectively since I have no idea what their reimbursement process is like and they won’t tell me anything about it other than ‘it only covers essentials so make sure you only buy essentials’. I am so exhausted. Does anyone have any experience expediting this process? Pretty soon my bag will have missed my entire trip and ruined the whole thing.

Hi all. I am coming for the next two weeks for work. Staying in Hobart.

For two days (no work), I have booked a rental car. I was thinking that one day I would drive to Port Arthur, and the other day I want to go hiking. Right now I have been planning to go to Mount Field, but I wanted to check in here to see what people thought. Is Mount Field the best outdoor day trip adventure from Hobart? Would you substitute it for another hike? For what it’s worth I am an experienced hiker.
