Traveling out of state on probation
I'm allowed to travel within the state (TX) on my DWI probation. I'm on random call in drug tests (M-F). I'm going to be out of town Thursday, Friday and Monday. I haven't been called in yet this month out of my mandatory 2 tests I have to do.
Although I'm low risk, have completed all my mandatory classes and requirements, and have only messed up once on probation throughout the past 1.5 years I am always fearful my officer will deny my travel request so I try to stick to weekends.
I was initially planning to tell her that I have to travel out of county for work but upon reading Reddit I got fearful that she could just ask me to go to a testing facility over there and I don't want to lie. Although in the past whenever I traveled to the neighboring county and asked her if I could submit UA at a location there she did tell me that that wasn't possible and that I had to return to the counties facilities for testing.
I guess I'm asking if I should just lie and tell her I'm going to another county and hope she doesn't ask for testing there? or ask her that I urgently need to go out of state soon for a few days and pray that she gets the approval? Or hope that I do no get called in for the 3 days I'll be out of town and tell her nothing?
