I’ve heard a lot of rumblings about a potential labor strike/walkout on the LIRR. While I support the workers, I’m worried that this could increase my fare even more.

Why don’t they raise taxes on the wealthy to cover this instead of putting workers and commuters at odds with each other?

What can we do collectively to stop this?
