VRAM clock always at maximum frequency

Hi everyone, I noticed something strange with my RTX 4050 Laptop GPU on my MSI Cyborg 15 A13VE.

Even when the GPU usage is at 0% and I’m literally doing nothing heavy, the clocks seem unusually high all the time. The core clock stays around 1605 MHz almost constantly, and particularly the VRAM clock is usually at 7000 or 8000 MHz, which seems to be basically the maximum memory frequency. It almost never goes lower.

Could this be normal behavior for RTX 4050 laptops / NVIDIA drivers, maybe related to refresh rate or power management? Or does it sound abnormal that the VRAM is almost permanently at max frequency even while idle?
