It’s now about 8:30 pm.
He called to ask me if I was okay and wondering where I was. I answered the call and then went into his room and we had a good laugh about the fact I was at his place.
I see him going downhill.
Its so sad.

Random conversation with two different strangers, one who was out walking his dog and another at the grocery store.
I work independently in people’s homes. I’m gonna get some business cards made up…..even if I’ll never need them again.
He cut his hand on the 14th and required stitches to be removed within 10 days.
Yet another appointment of many that he has missed due to lack of ability to make it to the car. Stitches weren’t removed due to cancelled appointment.
i understand.
I spent an hour on the phone talking with health professionals to find a way to get his stitches removed.
No cost solution-call an ambulance for a patient transport. Great.
Sunday night he said not tonight and he would see his GP in the morning (me:how??).
He put it off again.
it was his job to make an appointment with GP or get transported today.
This morning he was too sick and weak to get out of bed till 12. Said he would call EMS while I was at work.
Called him at 4 and he was so proud of himself for making an appointment with his GP tomorrow morning.
He hasn’t been to necessary appointments for 5 months.
I told him that if he can’t make it to his appointment tomorrow, I’ll drop him off or leave him at home and I’ll go to my own home (where I am setting up the property to sell urgently).
If only his three children or two siblings could help….wait, they don’t live nearby
