Hi all… Picked up a TCL 43” Q6 from Best Buy on April 11th, and about 2 weeks into ownership I started having WiFi connectivity issues. It would randomly drop signal and not reconnect. Did a factory reset, that fixed it briefly, but then the same thing would happen. Wound up calling TCL to try to troubleshoot, and all they had for me was to do an update, and then another factory reset. Needless to say, that didn’t work.
So I took the TV back to Best Buy, and wanted to return it and buy a Samsung. They told me I was past the 15 day return window, and there was nothing they could do to help me. Talked to the manager and tried to get him to help me out seeing as I was buying another TV, and that was a no go.
So I called TCL, yet again, and went through all the troubleshooting steps again. This time they wanted video proof and a picture of the TV. So I sent both in and am waiting for their response as to whether they are going to warranty it, which I can’t see why they wouldn’t.
Anyone ever have any issues similar to this? I guess as the motto goes you get what you pay for, right? No wonder the TV was so cheap.
