hey everyone, ive posted here before BUT I got a new phone and lost EVERYTHING (my account, my email etc).
hiya, i'm maani (nickname). i'm 24, married, living in the uk, and mum to two toddlers. life is full-on right now (understatement) but i've been really wanting something just for me. something calm, something outside of laundry and being everyone's everything. penpalling seemed like such a lovely way to do that.
i'm new to writing letters, but i love the idea of thoughtful, honest chats that aren't just rushed voice notes or doomscrolling. whether it's over email or snail mail, i'd really like to connect with someone who's kind, and up for sharing everyday thoughts or random things that don't always have a place elsewhere
some stuff i'm into:
reading (fantasy, emotional wrecks morally grey characters)
slow mornings, if my kids ever let me have one
talking about books, music, life identity, whatever really
i'm south asian and muslim, if that makes anyone feel a bit more at ease reaching out. i don't mind where you're from or what your background is, as long as you're genuine and not here to be weird. snail mail would be so cute but i know life can be hectic, so email works too.
