I bought a 2007 XC70 a little while ago and it’s had this phone link thing. I was messing around with it and it showed up in my Bluetooth pairing as VOLVO for life, and after messing around some more it showed up as Handsfree, but later it went back to VOLVO for life.

It requires a passcode to pair.

Whenever I pressed the main button it would like, override the stereo and say some stuff in Spanish, it was pretty quiet and couldn’t be adjusted with the volume control.

All I could make out was “something, quatro” when entering pairing mode, and if it was saying something and I pressed the red button it would say “Adios.”
