This might be a silly question, but I've never bought a Mac before.

University student, Psychology. I mainly want it for studying, presentations, maybe some online classes, and also for my hobby of basic photo editing, or perhaps very occasionally some basic video editing, as well as writing.

I'm not interested in playing video games on my laptop at all; I'm more of a console person.
