So, I'm currently on a skilled worker visa for 2 years and am thinking about switching jobs. I looked up that for my job code 2134, the going rate is £54,700 so I would need at least that much to get sponsored. But I'm currently only earning £36,000. Am I severely underpaid? What kind of salary can be expected in London as a Java developer? I basically have 5 years of experience now (3 in UK) and am doing a part time masters on the side. Also, is it reasonable to ask my sponsor to pay for my IHS fee or is that always paid by the worker?
