Trying to help sick colony cats one step at a time 💔

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who supported these cats before ❤️ Your kindness helped me finally take two sick colony cats to the vet and begin the urgent care they needed.

The grey kitten tested positive for a virus and is now receiving treatment. He also suffers from a severe eye infection, worms, and painful ear mange. The virus caused him to lose his appetite, leaving him weak and exhausted.

The orange & white cat is suffering from complications related to an old injury. He still walks with pain and has lost control of his tail and bowel movements, which caused painful skin irritation. He now needs supportive care, vitamins, and good nutrition to help his back legs and nerves recover as much as possible.

The donations I received helped start examinations, medication, and treatment, but the recovery journey is still long. Both cats still need continued medical care, vitamins, and specialized food to rebuild their strength and immune systems.

I attached the vet bills, prescriptions, medications, and food for transparency for everyone helping these colony cats survive.

Thank you for caring about forgotten stray cats and giving them a chance at a safer life ❤️

‏Update: The rescued cats finally visited the vet — but they still need help 💔

First of all, I want to sincerely thank everyone who donated and supported these cats before ❤️ Because of your kindness, I was finally able to take them to the vet and begin the urgent examinations and treatment they desperately needed. I truly could not have done this alone.

Here is the update on their condition:

🐾 The grey kitten tested positive for a virus and has started treatment. He also suffers from a severe eye infection, worms causing abdominal bloating, and painful ear mange. We immediately started eye drops and medication, but he is still weak and exhausted because the virus caused him to lose his appetite.

🐾 The orange & white cat was examined and the vet found signs of an old injury from a previous accident. His leg is healing, but he still walks in pain. Sadly, he has lost control of his tail and bowel movements, which caused painful skin inflammation. He also needs vitamins and supportive care to help his back legs and nerves slowly regain sensation and strength.

The donations unfortunately were not enough to fully cover all the medical costs, but they allowed the vet to begin the necessary procedures, examinations, and treatments to better understand the virus and the complications both cats are suffering from.

Both cats still need continued treatment, medication, vitamins, and specialized food to help their immune systems recover and regain strength.

I attached the vet bills, prescriptions, medications, and food for transparency and proof for everyone helping these cats.

Thank you again for giving these stray cats a chance to survive and live without pain ❤️

🚨 Two urgent rescue cases need help as soon as possible. 🐾

These two cats are fighting illness and pain, and I am trying my best to save them before it gets worse.

The small tabby kitten is very sick. One eye is badly infected and in serious danger. His nose keeps running, he has almost no appetite, and he looks weak and exhausted. He urgently needs treatment before the virus spreads further and causes permanent damage to his eye or his health.

The white and orange cat is suffering from the same virus symptoms: constant nasal discharge, weakness, and loss of appetite. But his condition is even more heartbreaking. He was previously injured in an accident, and his tail is badly damaged and infected. He cannot control his tail, urine, or stool anymore, and he does not seem to feel his tail at all. He needs cleaning, disinfection, medication, and possibly surgery because the injury appears severe.

I cannot ignore them or leave them suffering like this.

They need:

• Veterinary care

• Medication and eye treatment

• Cleaning and disinfecting supplies

• Special food to help them recover

Every small help can truly make a difference for these innocent souls. Even sharing this post could help them reach someone willing to save them. 🐱💔

Struggling to Feed a Colony of 50 Cats – Even the Street Cats Come Running When They See Me

Hi everyone,

I’m currently caring for a colony of around 50 rescued cats, including several young kittens I recently found abandoned on the roadside. They are all fully dependent on daily care and basic supplies to survive.

Things have become very difficult lately. I’ve run out of food, and I’m trying to manage whatever is left to keep them fed for as long as possible. The situation is getting harder each day, especially because even the street cats in the neighborhood now recognize me. Whenever they see me, they come running, hoping for food… and I often have nothing to give them.

It’s heartbreaking to see so many lives depending on something I can’t always provide.

Any small support makes a real difference and helps them get through another day.

Hello everyone,

I’m currently managing and feeding a colony of around 50 rescued cats, including many kittens. Most of them were abandoned or left to survive on their own, and I’ve taken responsibility for their daily care.

Some of the photos I’m sharing are from recent rescues. The last time, I found five tiny kittens alone on the roadside, far from people, food, or any sign of their mother. I couldn’t leave them, despite already caring for so many cats.

Right now, I’m struggling to keep up with their basic needs:

• Dry food lasts only a few days ($55)

• Litter is needed constantly ($10 per bag)

• Kittens need wet food for proper nutrition

Caring for a colony alone is not easy, and the needs never stop. Any small help can make a real difference in their lives.

Hello everyone,

I’m currently caring for a large number of rescued cats and kittens who rely on me every day. Many of them were abandoned or found in difficult conditions.

Right now, we are struggling to provide the basics:

  • Dry food lasts only 3 days ($55)
  • Litter is needed daily ($10 per bag)
  • Kittens need wet food to stay healthy

I do everything I can, but it’s becoming overwhelming. Your support, even small, can help me continue saving these lives.

Managing a rooftop colony is a challenge, but we just took a big step forward. With the $172 raised, we purchased this isolation unit for "Hana for Animals". It’s essential for our nursing moms (like our blind mama here) and for isolating sick cats to prevent any outbreaks. It’s not top-of-the-line, but it’s functional and much needed. Our next step is to provide more comfort with beds and bowls. Thank you for supporting our mission!

I’m so happy to update you all! Thanks to the $172 we raised from your kind donations, we bought this isolation cage for "Hana for Animals". It’s simple and not the highest quality, but it’s a life-saver for our blind mama cat and her baby. It keeps them safe and away from the rest of the cats while she nurses. In the future, we hope to get them soft beds and warm blankets too. Thank you for helping us give these strays a better life!

I’m so grateful to this amazing community! Thanks to your kind donations, we raised $172, which allowed us to buy this isolation cage for our small rooftop shelter, "Hana for Animals".

While it’s not the highest quality, it’s exactly what we need right now to get the job done. It provides a safe, quiet space for nursing mothers and a sterilized area for our sick cats to recover without spreading illness. In the future, we hope to upgrade to even better equipment, beds, and blankets as we grow.

I’ve posted a video on my profile showing the cats (including our blind mama and her kitten) exploring their new home! You can see the full update here: https://reddit.com

Thank you for being part of their rescue journey. Your support truly saves lives!

Hello everyone,

I am an independent rescuer in Morocco caring for more than 50 rescued cats from the streets.

Recently, I had to perform a deep sanitation to help prevent illness among the cats. Because of this, I had to remove and throw away all contaminated blankets, bedding, and materials.

As you can see in the photo, the shelter area is now almost empty. Many cats are left without proper blankets, beds, or enough litter boxes.

At the same time, I am facing heavy unpaid veterinary expenses, especially related to the treatment of a cat fighting a serious illness. This has made it very difficult to replace the basic supplies we lost and to provide essential medical care for the rescued cats.

Every day is a struggle between covering veterinary costs and maintaining even the most basic shelter needs.

Buying supplies locally is much more practical than importing them, as shipping to Morocco is very expensive.

If you feel moved to help, your support would make a real difference for these rescued cats.

Thank you for taking the time to read and for caring about these rescued lives in Morocco. 🐾🇲🇦

I care for about 50 rescued cats in a rooftop shelter I built.

After recently cleaning and reorganizing their space to help fight infections, I had to remove old blankets and separate the cats based on their health conditions.

Now I urgently need basic supplies like blankets, small beds, and medical treatments (flea, deworming, ear mites), plus diapers for one special-needs cat.

These changes were necessary for their health, but they left me with a very tight budget.
