uga vs umd
decision day is coming soon and i cant make a choice </3 got into uga oos (with honors) and i have family in georgia! its also a bit cheaper than going to maryland (my state school lol) with my merit scholarship. im planning on studying finance/mis which both schools have great programs in. my main concern is definitely the diversity at uga, but i keep hearing that its still a good experience for minorities which i rly hope is true :') i know any school is what you make of it but ive heard it can be cliquey and i definitely dont wanna join greek life so im just a bit skeptical. if anyone can speak on their experiences id really appreciate it! i liked my tour but i will say it definitely it was a culture shock coming from a community with a lot less white people lol, but i ultimately like the schools academic offerings better than maryland (ex. music business program), and itd be pretty nice to go out of state if i can just step out of my comfort zone.
