I have an upcoming flight from Denver to Nairobi, connecting through Frankfurt. The itinerary is on one ticket, with the first leg operated by United and second operated by Lufthansa. The connection in Frankfurt is only 2 hours and 5 minutes, so I want to ensure I have enough time. My questions is: will I have to reclaim my checked bags in Frankfurt, take them through customs, and then re-check the bags in Frankfurt prior to boarding my flight to Nairobi?

I've researched and since I am entering from non-Schengen and exiting to non-Schengen, it's pretty clear I won't have to pass through immigration, but I can't find definitive answers on this point on checked bags. Thanks for the help!
