Spiritborn lord of hatred wishlist

I'm hoping they kind of stamp out this whole collect-a-thon that the class has where you try basically acquire the most animal spirits possible for the spells.

Like "oh wow my quill Volley is now eagle, jaguar and gorilla skill"

Or "oh my core skill is now a basic skill vice versa"

I want some more iconic monk tropes put into the class and animal identity to be more stamped out... like you seeing a jaguar spiritborn who's pure jaguar really have some very unique aspects to their playstyle versus a collect-a-thon spiritborn.

More *Hit and move gameplay* instead of the stand and tank cause you have a bunch of gorilla passives.

Spiritborn has useless poison skill line cause the capstone makes poison damage just instant... so what's the point.

Eagle is supposed to be about precision.. it's skills should be very position based, like you putting a target at apex it does the most damage, soar and vortex having extra damage in center, Evade distance increasing damage so evading into walls less damage.

Jaguar is the aggression and fire, it should be that shock reaction when you are on a trail and see a big cat or when you touch something hot, it needs to be more punch but instead it's this slow ramping damage (how is that not centipede identity)

Gorilla is fine I guess, it's beefy, has melee hits. Honestly kind of wish they went with elephant so you could do big elephant stomps and it could be the more hard cc oriented animal spirit.. it also would be able to make the ultimate not just another circle ultimate since the elephant could be more of a charge elephant stampede ultimate where you're crashing enemies into a wall and beating them into the wall. Also like a bunch of trunk swinging kicks and tusk meaty attacks.

Centipede **dot builds do not work in Diablo 4 and the spiritborn capstone just makes all it's poison instant damage so what is the genuine point** Good ARPG DoT builds usually have: stack>detonate, ramp>burst, or just crazy spreading plague theme. Centipede is just applying poison, see big gray health and then just walk away cause well it will die. Maybe if the centipede had a way to consume the big dots you're putting on enemies then you could expell it to different mobs with the risk/reward that having a lot of consumed poison could lower your health but you had ways to mitigate the tick while accelerating the tick on enemies.

**tl;dr: I have high hopes for the spiritborn class in lord of hatred. Fingers crossed**

P.S. Id love if they can steal that bell spell from poe2 monk and give it to Spiritborn, the skill is so fun.

Marathon has been out 6 weeks and it's been #1 searched game on steam DB for 6 weeks

People are obsessed with this games success, it's honestly kind of crazy...i can't think of another game that sat on the top of steam SB search that long.

Are yall pretty happy with the new direction for class specialization?

At the moment it seems like it's just pick 4 options or bust. Do you kind of prefer the more intricate like book of the dead. Are you hoping the expansion will make the other classes more like Spiritborn, Paladin and Warlock or would you rather them double down on how they function now and expand? Like more book of the damned options or rogue getting a roll of dice that gives them random buffs.
